Craft Town Scotland owns nine subsidised studios which are situated along the Main Street in West Kilbride. Our professional makers and artists are varied in their choice of materials and disciplines. The studios are open to the public from Thursday to Saturday 11-4pm. At the heart of our creativity lies the Barony Centre a recently upgraded church which offers one of the best exhibition centres in the West of Scotland. We provide a programme of exhibitions across the year and we showcase many Scottish makers in our Gallery retail area. Included in the available range are pieces from our studio makers. The venue is pleasant to visit, offers enjoyable exhibitions and provides an excellent shopping experience. We are also proud of our in-house cafe offering freshly cooked meals and delicious home baking. The Barony Centre is open Monday to Saturday 10 - 4pm. West Kilbride village offers a range of privately owned retail businesses, with many award winners, some of whom started in our studios. The village offers a naturally wooded Glen where pathways lead walkers down to the Clyde. Many viewpoints may be found in the village from where the Island of Arran may be seen.
