Stonehaven collection -

Inspired by rocks and textures found at Stonehaven beach in Aberdeenshire.

This collection comprises of one Large plate, Bowl, Small plate. These pieces were initially created while studying in my final year at Grays School of Art but have since developed further.

Holy Loch Collection

Holy Loch Collection -

Inspired by rocks and textures found on the shores of the Holy Loch in Dunoon, Scotland.

I designed these pieces while helping out a potter in Dunoon. The collection comprises of a Medium sized bowl and two very different soap-dishes.

Stonehaven Plate & bowl

Stonehaven Plate & Bowl - Inspired by rocks and textures found at Stonehaven beach in Aberdeenshire. The pieces retain the organic shape of the rocks and textures. I use a greeny blue glaze, some parts are shiny and others matte. The underside is mainly white with blue drips.

Inverbervie collection

Inverbervie Collection -

Inspired by rocks and textures found at Inverbervie beach this close up image shows you how much of the texture is retained on the ceramic pieces.

The glaze is inspired by the surrounding hills and lush green algae on the rocks.

Holy Loch bowl

Holy Loch Bowl Close up-

The Holy Loch Bowl is inspired by a rock found on the shores of the Holy loch in Dunoon. The inside is glazed in a celedon green colour which can crackle once fired, leaving a glassy green pool at the bottom of the bowl.
