Signals

The well received collection Signals was inspired by small electric posts which wires run into the houses in an Aberdeenshire village, these wires connect us all. This cushion was the first product made in our first collection and here it is in the landscape that inspired it.

This close up shot captures our Signals pattern in the Static colourway. You can see how each line is not perfect, the original sketch for this design was created using a ink pen which gives these little irregularities and more softness to the geometic feel.

The lampshades started after I was asked at a Scottish design fair to make one for a customers when they saw the fabric. It is now one of the most favoured products. I've created a kit so people can make there own and we are developing an online tutorial too.

This peice was developed with the mindset that it would probably be used as a washbag but that it could be used for may other purposes. It was made 24 cm tall so that a normal shampoo bottle could stand up in it, practical & useful.

Practical, sustainable & luxurious. This tote was designed considering that the owner may want to fold it up in a pocket or carry notebooks to work or grab some shopping. Half panama cotton is strong but not bulky. The round corners puts less stress on them so it will last longer.
