Buoys Cowl - Coral

One of my inspirations for this piece is the buoys that bring a pop of colour in amongst the waves. The design ties into the fishing heritage that is so important to Scotland. The design incorporates hand dyed Merino wool with small amounts of reclaimed cotton.

St Ninians Wrap

Using hand dyed Merino wool to create this large wrap with double sided fabric. Hand transferring stitches and taking needles out of action creates a beautifully subtle texture on one side and a more structured texture one the other. A different dominant colour shows on each side.

Blue Darkenin Scarf

The scarves I produce have a unique knitted texture. This texture links to the land and seascapes that inspired. This together with the hand dyed gradients of colour create a textured abstract of the Shetland Islands.

Summer Blue Snood

Inspired by the land and seascapes of Shetland my snoods are an abstract of the islands. The perfect accessory for spending time in the outdoors, hillwalking or beach combing. The knitted textures create an extra think insulation to keep you nice and cosy.

Summer Blue Wrap

This design uses 95% Merino wool and 5% reclaimed cotton. The cotton has an extra bright quality - the yellow highlights in this case. All the cotton I use is reclaimed. This unwanted yarn is perfect for the small amounts I use, and it means a little less waste.
