Vaila Ring

The original ring in this series was inspired by my friend whose birthday it was for. I tried to reflect her personality and tastes.

Viv Connections Necklaces

This was part of the ongoing development of my collection.

The ceramic shards were collected during a holiday to Mull

during which I listened to The Clash a lot with my teenage son. This is reflected in a slightly more geometric development to my work .

Connections Necklace

This was a range I designed to be exhibited at the Craft Sctoland summer Show 2019 . The necklace has shapes and etched text which were directly inspired by a 70s blouse and hand written recipe book belonging to my mother. She had just undergone open heart surgery .

This was part of the ongoing development of my collection again inspired by a trip to Mull and listening to The Clash. My son's favourite Clash song that summer was "Train in Vain " a break up song about Viv Albertine of The Slits.
