Hilary Grant is a textile design studio based on the Orkney Islands. We specialise in original knitted pattern and compositions - for blankets, wall hangings, scarves and accessories. We are a design partnership between Hilary Grant and Robert Harvey, with a background in textile design and architecture. We value things made with genuine creativity, originality and humanity.
Our textiles are made entirely in Scotland, on state of the art Japanese knitting machines, before being carefully hand-finished, by traditional methods. All our pieces are knitted from a luxury-grade, mulesing-free, superfine lambswool yarn. Our scarves and blankets can be found in Design stores, boutiques, Gallery shops and select department stores in the UK, Europe, the US, Japan and Hong Kong.
