'Lichens' Cushion Collection

This was my first full cushion collection. It was inspired by lichens growing within the local landscapes, within woodlands and on local granite rock. Print motifs were hand drawn and tested as screen prints before being developed into digital prints. These cushion covers are digitally printed before small batch manufacture.

'Lace Lichen' Cushion - Screen Print on Cashmere.

This is an original hand screen printed cushion cover in my lace lichen print design. It uses high quality cashmere offcuts that may have otherwise gone to textile waste. Backed in wool, it is printed using both standard and metallic pigments.

Abstract 'Lace Lichen' Tweed Cushion with Embroidery

This was an experimental piece using Harris Tweed. Abstractly applied foils, over screenprinted, then hand embroidered detailing to pick up the Lace Lichen print motif.

'Springtime' Cushion Collection

Hand Screen Printed Cushions in 'Springtime' Print. Inspired by first shrub to start to bud and open in Spring on my regular riverside walk. Printed on a variety of shades of wool and complimentary pigments.

'Lace Lichen' Shantung Silk Square Scarf

Digitally printed shantung silk square in my lace lichen print design. Colours are inspired by the unusual colourings you can find with lichens on granite.
