The Craft Pottery Charitable Trust
The Ceramic Art: Grants to Artists programme supports studio-based makers working in ceramics, and curatorial research in contemporary studio ceramics. Grants cover direct expenses for a period of independent research, creation, production of artworks for public exhibitions or the development of prototypes and promotional material. Theo Moorman Trust for Weavers
The Trustees give grants of between £500 and £5,000 so that weavers can purchase equipment to enjoy a sabbatical, undertake a specific project or projects which will progress their craft, or develop the craft in any other way in which the Trustees think fit. Barns-Graham Travel Award
The Barns-Graham Travel Award (£2,000) provides a travel and research opportunity for graduating and postgraduate students who are painters, printmakers or sculptors. Benevolent Awards
The RSA Miss M O Taylor Trust Fund and Alexander Nasmyth Fund are benevolent funds that were bequeathed to the RSA. Awards are made from these funds to support artists who are currently experiencing adverse financial difficulties. For example, an artist who is unable to practice their work due to caring for a sick or elderly relative, or due to personal incapacity through illness. Find out more on the RSA website.
