The John Byrne Award
Delivered by the charity The Iris Initiative and patroned by the artist John Byrne, we have been awarding young creatives since 2010. The competition is open to 16-30 year olds living in Scotland. Distinct from arts competitions, we focus on rewarding the values that underpin young people’s creative work. In doing so, the growing archive of entries hosted on our website reflects the key issues young people face in modern society, providing a national forum for self-expression. Entries can be submitted via the website.
