SHY design studio primarily produce furniture and products, as well as providing creative direction and project management, predominantly within the collectible art and design industry. The studio is now settled in Glasgow, Scotland.
We place great importance on our surroundings and understanding how they directly affect our wellbeing, we incite this with understated but engaging, tactile furniture and objects. We take no interest in trends, instead creating works that we want to live with ourselves, work that endures emotionally for us and others alike. It is this, along with an excellent standard of craftsmanship and material which will ensure a rich relationship between user and object.
Our experience allows us to create using a diverse range of materials which are carefully selected from sustainable sources to suit the needs of each individual concept. Open edition works as well as limited edition and commission pieces are all made to order to our exacting standards.
