From her studio in Edinburgh, textile designer Fiona McIntosh designs and produces a range of hand dyed and hand silk screen printed fashion accessories using the 'discharge' method of printing. This technique produces intense colours while retaining the original soft handle of the fabrics.

Drawing inspiration from the imagery and colours of mid-century design she works primarily with natural fabrics such as silk, lambswool and cashmere.

All her fabrics are made into her collection of fashion accessories in Scotland outsourced to a team of outworkers.

Fiona regularly shows her work nationally and internationally taking part in trade shows and direct selling events and permanently has her work in her co-owned retail space Concrete Wardrobe in Edinburgh.

She graduated from the Scottish College of Textiles now known as Heriot Watt University Borders Campus in 1984 and set up her studio Tessuti Scotland in 1985.
