Bryony's elegant work brings a hint of humour and glamour to the simple items we use in our daily rituals. Covering a wide span from the theatrical to the everyday, the designs cleverly combine figurative sculpture and functionality with a large dollop of wit.

She makes an eclectic range of items from decanters and vases to boxes and brooches, with function and form inspired by the essence of animals and birds.

Each individual piece is brought to life using the ancient techniques of repousse and chasing, often with enamel or gilded details. In 2018 Bryony further explored these and other techniques whilst living as a Victorian silversmith and blacksmith for a month for BBC 2's 'Victorian House of Arts & Crafts'.

Bryony's experience as Artist in Residence at Edinburgh Zoo has informed her recent collection- combining contemporary chased silver with colourful glass vessels, creating functional silverware with a twist.

Bryony graduated with a Masters in Design from Glasgow School of Art and she has been working in metal - from brooches and automata to gates- for over 20 years. She has a studio in Leith, Edinburgh and past commissions include objects for J K Rowling, Winchester Cathedral & HRH Princess Anne.
