Building on traditional silversmithing and design work, this one-year course will allow you to further develop your jewellery design practice.
At SilverHub Jewellery School and Studios artistic and design progression is paramount.
This course will enable students to gain an understanding of how to develop as a designer, maker and artist. Students will grow confidently, developing their visual language, artistic voice and expanding on their technical range. Students will develop a portfolio of work which can then be used for entry to a university level course or act as the catalyst to set up their own independent jewellery business.
Throughout the course, students will have the experience of working in a creative studio environment - in addition to attending lectures, technical demonstrations and practice presentations from visiting artists and makers. Students will also receive regular guidance and from our tutors, professional jewellery designers and educators, Lisa Arnott and Jessica Howarth.
Graduates from the one-year course have successfully gained places at Degree and Masters level at leading Universities throughout the UK.
