Fair Isle Studio offers space for anyone with a creative practice wishing for devoted work or research time.
Fair Isle is Britain’s most remote inhabited island, sitting between Shetland and Orkney. Fair Isle has rich history, culture and wildlife and is much celebrated for its knitwear and textiles. We are delighted to offer Fair Isle’s first residency space.
Fair Isle Studio is based within a fully fitted traditional Shetland crofthouse with comfortable living space and separate versatile studio space.
HOW TO APPLY
Applications open for August 2019 onwards.
Minimum stay 2 weeks, preferred stay 4 weeks.
Residency fee: £630 for 2 weeks or £1,260 for 4 weeks.
